Newly Diagnosed Myeloma Patients, who achieved efficacy above VGPR (very good PR)after initial treatment were enrolled. Patients were then randomly assigned to Id and Rd groups for maintenance treatment. Therapeutic effectiveness will be reviewed monthly until intolerant side effect or disease progression appear . The follow-up period is approximately 2 years.
The objective of this study is to evaluate the immune profile of plasma cells and immune effector cells in paired peripheral whole blood and bone marrow samples from MM patients by standardized flow cytometry. The quantitative and/or qualitative variation of these immune effectors according to the different status of myeloma pathology (diagnosis, relapse or refractory). It is interesting to assess the extent to which a particular immune profile is associated with a better therapeutic response for a given treatment. In addition, the study will validate the stability of the samples between T0 (< 4 hours after sampling) and T0 + 72...
The goal of this pilot study is to evaluate the impact of All4Cure enrollment on patients with relapsed multiple myeloma. The main question it aims to answer are: • Does All4Cure effect patient activation as assessed by the PAM-13 survey? Participants will be asked to: - fill out quarterly PAM-13 surveys through the All4Cure website to assess patient activation. - fill out monthly Patient Reported Outcome (PRO) surveys through the All4Cure website. - fill out a baseline and exit All4Cure surveys through the All4Cure website to assess patient perceptions of All4Cure at the beginning and the end of...
Malnutrition is common after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), and is a well-known prognostic factor for survival. HSCT-associated treatments are metabolic and digestively intolerant, hence can induce a significant reduction in oral intake. Thus weight loss, as well as a reduction in serum albumin, and pre-albumin levels, are frequent following HSCT. Although the gut remains functional, sore mouth, mucositis, dysphagia, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea will inevitably hinder the implementation of enteral nutrition (EN), thus leading to a deficit in between daily intake and requirement. Side effects of chemotherapy and...
Hematological malignancies gather several various pathologies included myeloproliferative disorders (as acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or chronic myeloid leukemia (CML)) and lymphoproliferative disorders (as chronic lymphoid leukemia (CLL), non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and multiple myeloma (MM)) . Over the last decade, the treatments have evolved significantly but the overall survival remains limited, especially for the AML and MM patients. There's an ongoing imperative to continue in-vitro and in-vivo studies to better evaluate the anti-cancer drugs sensitivity and therefore improving the response to treatments and open new fields of...
This study is a Multicenter, Open-label, Phase II study of ixazomib, plus Pomalidomide and Dexamethasone regimen (IPD) in RRMM with adverse Genomic Abnormalities.
Cryoglobulinaemia is defined as the presence of immunoglobulins in the serum, which reversibly precipitate and form a gel when the temperature drops below 37°C and redissolve upon re-warming. Classification includes three subgroups based on Immunoglobulin (Ig) composition. Type I cryoglobulinaemia consists of only one isotype or subclass of immunoglobulin. Types II and III are classified as mixed cryoglobulinaemia (MC) because they include both IgG and IgM components. Overall, cryoglobulinaemia is considered a rare disease (<5/10,000 in the general European and North American population), although prevalence is likely to be higher in...
The purpose of this study is to learn about the impact that the services and programs provided by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society have among patients with blood cancer, such as access to care, quality of life, and financial burden.
Since CAR-T cell treatment of refractory myeloma has shown success, based on preclinical data, we posit that CAR-T cells expressing B-cell activating factor (BAFF) can become another strategy to treat refractory myeloma, even after relapse following BCMA targeting CAR-T cell treatment. This will be phase 1 study of BAFF ligand CAR-T cells in relapsed and refractory myeloma.
Research question: Is KRd therapy effective and safe in the real-world Asian patients? Primay objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of KRd in RRMM patients Secondary objectives: To evaluate the effectiveness of investigational treatment strategy by - PFS difference according to the high-risk disease subgroups and previous treatment - OS - Overall response rate and clinical benefit rate - Duration of response To evaluate the safety and tolerability of KRd in RRMM patients
