This clinical trial compares the effectiveness of geriatric assessment (GA) guided interventions to accelerate functional recovery after chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy compared to standard of care (SOC) in patients 60 years and older with B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) or multiple myeloma (MM). A large number of patients diagnosed with cancer are over the age of 60, yet most cancer treatments are developed for younger patients. Therefore, older patients may be less likely to be offered stronger treatments, such as CAR-T therapy, due to possible side effects. Geriatric assessment is a multi-dimensional health...
A Phase 2 Study to Evaluate Safety and Efficacy of Teclistamab in Combination with Daratumumab, Lenalidomide, and Dexamethasone with or without Bortezomib as Induction Therapy and Teclistamab in Combination with Daratumumab and Lenalidomide as Maintenance Therapy in Participants with Newly Diagnosed Transplant Eligible Multiple Myeloma. OBJECTIVES: The primary objective is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of Tec-DRd and Tec-DVRd as induction therapy and Tec-DR as post-transplant maintenance therapy in participants with ND-TEMM. The key secondary objective is to evaluate the efficacy of Tec-DRd and Tec-DVRd as...
To explore the safety and efficacy of systemic radiotherapy (TBI) combined with melphalan (Mel) for pretreatment of autologous hematopoietic stem cells in multiple myeloma.
This is a Phase I single-arm open-label clinical study primarily assessing the safety and secondarily, the relative efficacy of low dose melphalan + high dose ascorbate acid (HDAA) in relapsed refractory patients with multiple myeloma.
This study was a multi-center, randomized, prospective study. The purpose is to clarify that high-dose VP-16+G-CSF has better mobilization efficiency and less toxic and side effects compared with high-dose CTX+G-CSF, and minimize mobilization failure, so as to provide convenient and high-quality mobilization programs for clinical practice and enable more patients to enter the transplantation stage smoothly.
This pilot clinical trial studies whether using high throughput drug sensitivity and genomics data is feasible in developing individualized treatment in patients with multiple myeloma or plasma cell leukemia that has come back or does not respond to treatment. High throughput screen tests many different drugs that kill multiple myeloma cells in individual chambers at the same time. Matching a drug or drug combination to a patient using high throughput screen and genetic information may improve the ability to help patients by choosing drugs that work well for their disease.
New treatment regimens with increased efficiency and reduced toxicities are being introduced in the treatment of Multiple Myeloma (MM). As a result, patients can expect increased survival, but also increased time on active treatment. Consequently, patients spend an increasing amount of time at the hospital and on transportation. This may not only expose the patients to unnecessary risks of infections, but will also reduce their available time to have a meaningful life. Carfilzomib is a drug used alone or in combination with other drugs for treatment of relapsed multiple myeloma. It is gives as an intravenous infusion day 1 and 2, day...
A Phase Ⅱ Clinical Study Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of Human BCMA Targeted T Cells Injection(BCMA CAR-T) Therapy for R/R MM. Patients will be given a conditioning chemotherapy regimen of fludarabine and cyclophosphamide followed by a single infusion of BCMA CAR+ T cells.
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of Human BCMA Targeted T Cells Injection for the treatment of BCMA-positive relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. Patients will be given a conditioning chemotherapy regimen of fludarabine and cyclophosphamide followed by a single infusion of BCMA CAR+ T cells.
This phase II trial studies the effects of iberdomide when given alone or in combination with dexamethasone in treating intermediate or high-risk smoldering multiple myeloma patients. Immunotherapy with iberdomide may induce changes in body's immune system and may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Dexamethasone is a synthetic steroid (similar to steroid hormones produced naturally in the adrenal gland), and is used with other drugs in the treatment of some types of cancer. Giving iberdomide with dexamethasone my improve time to progression to symptomatic myeloma with improved tolerability.
